Publications and Products
- The first two stories of the La Guardiana de la Naturaleza series are published: The Guardian of Nature and her friends SAVE THE RIVER and La Guardiana de la Naturaleza and her friends SEED TREES. In addition, we have several educational tools and environmentally friendly products.
Material Donation
- The book has come as a donation to more than 10,000 children in the province of Guanacaste, along with the Guardians of Nature workshop.
Awards
- We were chosen for the financing of the First Exchange of Nature Debt Costa Rica – USA to create environmental education material for Latin America and work with 19 schools and more than 2,500 children in Guanacaste. This project was carried out in partnership with the newspaper La Voz de Guanacaste.
Alliances
- Alliance with 10 NGOs that work as Mentoring Guardians carrying the message to children in rural areas.
- Partnership with UNDP and its Asadas strengthening project to strengthen educational centers in Guanacaste.
- The Municipality of Belén joins the movement by sponsoring the book to all the schools in its canton and strengthening environmental education in its educational centers.
- The Municipalities of Los Chiles, Orotina, Heredia, Santa Bárbara and Monte Verde show interest in joining the movement.
- The first free environmental education newsletter for teachers in Latin America is already circulating.
Educational Plataform
- Free material is shared on our educational platform for teachers.
- The second video of Guardians is created with the Voice of Guanacaste.
