We believe that education and nature must go hand in hand. Anyone who shares this vision—and chooses to learn, teach, and live as a Guardian of Nature, becomes part of our growing movement, our community, our family. Through an education rooted in connection with the natural world, we cultivate empathy, collaboration and responsibility needed to care for our planet. Together, we show that the Guardians of Nature are growing every day, and that we are the spark of lasting, regenerative change.
What inspired this school to participate in My Guardian Challenge is the ongoing desire to become Guardians of Nature. We are very excited: the students, the cook, the teachers, and the Education Board. We want to continue being guardians and expand our experiences.
Environmental education is a key tool for shaping responsible, committed citizens who are aware of their role in protecting the planet. Programs like Mi Reto Guardián not only enrich learning in the classroom but also foster essential values such as solidarity, sustainability, and collective action
In Guardians of Nature, I find a wealth of resources to carry out activities with my students, experiences that help them become more aware of the footprint we should leave on our planet through its care and protection.
